New city. New neighborhood. New adventure. Beacon shows you nearby people who share your interests — wave when you're ready, and if they wave back, your beacons light up.

How it works
Beacon only shows you when you want to be found. Three steps to your first pulse.
Tell Beacon what you love — hiking, golf, live music, cooking, coffee shops. Your profile is yours to control, showing only what you choose.
When you're open to meeting people, flip on your beacon. You become discoverable to others nearby with shared interests. Toggle off anytime — you're invisible again instantly.
See someone with shared interests? Send a wave. If they wave back, your beacons light up and messaging unlocks. No one-sided visibility. No unsolicited messages. Just genuine mutual discovery.
Who it's for
Stuck in a city you don't know after a long day of meetings? Find a fellow hiker, a golf partner, or someone who knows the best local spots — without the awkward bar approach.
Building a social life from scratch is hard. Beacon surfaces people near you with shared hobbies, so your first real conversation already has something in common. Wave, and see who waves back.
Need a hiking partner, a running buddy, or someone to hit the driving range with? Turn on your beacon and find people within a few miles who are up for the same thing.
Sometimes your regular crew isn't available. Beacon shows you nearby people who share your niche interests — from board games to bouldering — and lets you wave when you're ready.
Built different
We've seen what happens when proximity apps get privacy wrong. Beacon was designed from day one to make safety non-negotiable.
You are invisible by default. You only appear to others when you consciously choose to turn your beacon on.
Beacon shows approximate distance — "within half a mile" — never a dot on a map pinpointing where you are.
Nobody can message you out of the blue. Both people must wave before a pulse opens and any contact is possible.
Share as little or as much as you want. A first name and two interests is enough to get started.
Beacon is interest-based, not appearance-based. There is no photo search or identification capability, period.
Instant blocking is always one tap away. Reports are reviewed by a real person, not an algorithm.
Early access
We're doing a controlled city-by-city rollout. Join now and be one of the first to turn on your beacon.
